Veterinary Technician

Meet Allegra! Allegra’s journey with East Plains began as a dedicated volunteer who quickly fell in love with the work and the animals. Her passion for caring for pets soon led her to join the team as an animal care attendant! Allegra recently took the next step by earning her veterinary technician degree at Ridgetown College. Allegra is a proud cat mom to two spirited calicos who keep her on her toes and fill her days with joy. She’s excited to bring that same love and care to every pet she meets and looks forward to making a difference in the lives of your furry friends!

Tracy has a passion for teaching, and when she isn’t in clinic you can sometimes find her back at Ridgetown teaching courses such as Clinical Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis and Math. Tracy wanted to become an RVT to raise awareness about responsible pet care, and to help people (and their furry family) through the more difficult parts of being a fur parent. When not in the clinic, Tracy’s home life is a busy one with a husband, two lovely daughters (Taya and Georgia!) and three cats (Máquina, Beans and Buttons). She loves spending time with her girls; attending theatrical shows with Taya or volunteering as trainer for Georgia’s hockey team. Some of her interests outside of work include; Faith, Fitness, and Fiction! In her free time Tracy loves board games, a challenging escape room, or simply curling up with a good book (and a great bottle of wine!). We are thrilled to have welcomed Tracy to the EPAH team in October of 2023!
