Meet the Clinic Pets
Since opening our doors in 2010, we have also opened our hearts to several furry friends along the way! When in the clinic you may see some of these smiling faces greeting you as you enter, or looking for some loving in the front reception area! Each of the cats have been rescued for one reason or another, and are lucky to be a part of the East Plains Animal Hospital family! Have a read below to find out a little bit more about our rescue feline friends, and some of the familiar canine faces you may see around the clinic.
Clinic Cats
Frank
Meet Frank! In October of 2010 as a stray, he was unfortunately hit by a car on Plains road directly in front of the clinic. A pedestrian saw him laying in the street, and Dr. Loh and Denise ran to his rescue. Although he suffered a traumatic head injury and was scraped and bruised, the East Plains team rescued him and put him back together! He has been known as Frankenstein or "Frank" ever since! :)

Davey
Davey was brought to East Plains Animal Hospital in the fall of 2012 as a stray 4 month old kitten from a feral cat colony. As a stray, he had sustained a traumatic injury to his right hind leg that required an amputation surgery. Since removing his leg, Davey gets around just fine! Having only one hind leg earned him the name "Davey-Jones". Davey is still a shy boy, and he is often found hanging out in the office or the treatment area.
